I started Talking River Books because I'm passionate about words and paper.  Even from childhood I've never lost that magical feeling -- the love of writing, the connection it engenders between writer and reader, and the mystery of the blank page.  TR Books was created as a place for special books that I could share with you.

From small coil-bound beginnings I've continued to explore the fun of bookbinding and the amazing world of possibility.  TR Books will still offer its poetry and essays from indie writers.  But click on the Scrapbooks link (mouse over the asterisk) at right to see all the beautiful blank journals, just waiting for your dreams and ideas.  Soon these will be moved to "ABookinHand" dot com.
